Sunday Afternoon Series
Unaffiliated Indoor Autumn Agility Shows (judging of obstacles based on KC rules and regs)

This is a fun series and also an opportunity to train your dogs in the ring. Please enter a pair of dogs of the same size. All sizes of dogs will run against each other for the class awards. Each dog will run a separate agility and jumping round, and then join with its pair for the last round.
Limited to 60 Dogs, 30 pairs. 3 runs for all dogs
Gates & show open at 12.30. please do not arrive earlier.

CLASSES
Class 1 Agility grades 1-7 will include weaves
Class 2 Jumping grades 1-7 will include weaves
Class 3 Pairs grades 1-7 will include 6 weaves, jumps, tunnels and a baton change
Height Categories and Jump Heights:
Small: dogs measuring 13.75 inches (350mm) or under at the withers. Jump height is 14”.
Medium: dogs measuring over 13.75inches(-350mm) and measuring 17 inches (430mm) or under at the withers. Jump height 18”.
Large: dogs measuring over 17inches (430mm) at the withers. Jump height is 26”.
AWARDS
1st Place trophy in all classes.
Rosettes up to 5th place
Clear round rosettes in all classes.
The places for the 5 runs each pair completes will be accumulated to give an overall Pairs Trophy Winner on the day.
There will also be a series Trophy for the pair that performs best throughout the series.
Autumn Pairs at The Dog Barn- Show Rules
1. The organisers of Autumn Pairs at The Dog Barn” show reserve the right to refuse entries. .
2. Entries limited. Fees £9.00 per dog for 3 runs, (£18 per pair) Please enter as a pair.
3. If either dog or handler is unable to run on the day, a substitute can run instead.
4. If the maximum number of runs is reached before the official closing date, entries will be declared closed at that earlier date.
5. Competitors must sign and date the declaration on the entry form. One form per Pair.
6. Handlers not cleaning up after their dogs will be asked to leave the show.
7. All dogs entered for competition at this show must be 15 months of age or over.
8. Bitches in season are not allowed to compete at the show, or be mated at the venue.
9. Height definitions as per page 2 of this Schedule.
10. Competitors are responsible for ensuring that they are available for their classes.
11. Dogs may wear a flat nylon or leather collar, without attachments (except D-ring), when competing. Dogs must not wear any other form of collar, or harness or lead.
12. Handlers must not have with them in the ring any training aids such as toys or tidbit unless running NFC
13. Marking of faults, including contacts, to be in line with Kennel Club rules. The judges may use their discretion in the Grade 0 class
14. Any person handling their own or any other dog in a harsh manner will be asked to leave the show.
15. A dog will be removed from the competition if it is: so out of control that it poses a danger to people or dogs at the show; or suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, or otherwise unfit to compete.
16. The organisers of Autumn Pairs at The Dog Barn are the sole arbiters in respect of all matters and disputes at this event.
17. In the UNFORTUNATE event that the competition has to be cancelled, The Autumn Pairs at the Dog Barn organisers reserve the right to deduct unrecoverable expenses incurred before returning entry fees.
18. Handlers entered for competition are permitted to bring their non-competing dogs to the show. Any spectators must inform the show secretary beforehand if they intend to bring dogs to the show.
19. All dogs are entered at their owner's risk. Whilst every care will be taken, The Dog Training Barn will not take responsibility for the loss, damage or injury to dogs, people or property whilst at this show.
20. Competitors must follow the instructions of the Stewards with respect to parking and conduct within the show boundaries. Any person being abusive to our helpers will be asked to leave the show.
21. Goods may not be sold at the venue without prior permission of The Dog Training Barn
22. Rosettes will not be posted on. They can be collected at one of the later shows.
23. No refunds will be made after cheques have been banked. If you might request a refund for later shows please use separate cheques.
24. 3 A dog can run in different pairs throughout the series but need to be in the same pair to qualify for the series trophy
TRAINING IN THE RING: Competitors may, if they so wish, use the course time to train in the ring, using a toy if required & so run “Not For Competition” (NFC).The Scribe will then shout NFC to the judge, who may then take a moment to relax. The Scribe must shout Time when the course time has been reached. Competitors must ensure their scribe sheet is annotated NFC.
