Understanding, Managing and Modifying Problem Behaviours
7 Day Course 1 - 7 October 2021 £1375 including lunch and refreshments Reserve your place with £343.75 non refundable deposit, balance payable as a non refundable instalment 3 months before the course start date, ie by 7 July for the October course. This course is for professionals with a minimum of two years training experience. It is not suitable to bring a dog with you. Fantastic opportunity to learn about and discuss problem behaviours and behaviour consulting in a safe environment with only 11 other students and Chirag over 7 days. We have a real case study each day, referred from our local vet cases ranging from dogs showing separation related behaviour to biting, barking and lunging at people and dogs. Each morning we listen to and discuss a telephone consultation with a client, who then visits us with their dog in the afternoon. We also explore and discusses the various ways he can work with the caregiver and the dog to modify their environments and behaviour. Later in the week we follow up the progress with each client. Each day there are also lectures and discussions about the science of behaviour change. |

Chirag Patel BSc (Hons), CPDT-KA, DipCABT Animal Behaviour & Training Consultant Chirag is an animal training and behaviour consultant based in London. He teaches owners, pets and zoo staff and gives seminars/workshops to professionals internationally. He has studied training and behaviour with some of the leading experts around the world including an internship under Dr Ian Dunbar in California and Jean Donaldson at the San Francisco SPCA Dog Trainers Academy. Chirag has a BSc (Hons) in veterinary Sciences from the Royal Veterinary College in London as well as a post graduate certificate at the University of Lincoln in Clinical Animal Behaviour under Professor Daniel Mills and Helen Zulch (Veterinary behaviourists). He also managed the Training and Behaviour Centre at Dr Roger Mugford’s Company of Animals.
