1 to 1 New Puppy Training and Socialising

Check out the new Covid Restrictions Package Offer below!

Individual Training Sessions for you and your Puppy
with Sally Stephens
(for puppies up to 16 weeks of age)

Doing the puppy 1:1 course with sally was the best way to prepare for getting our puppy. Sally was fantastic with providing invaluable advice, from toilet training to the first night. It really helped us to settle her into our home in the smoothest and kindest way. She provided us with creative ways to introduce our puppy to new people and other animals is a safe and positive way, which we are so grateful for. I would recommend Sally to anyone getting a new puppy to give you and your pup the best possible start!  (Rachel and Puppy Maple)

The earlier your puppy can be socialised (to interact happily and safely with other puppies, people and situations) the greater the chance you have of raising a confident and happy dog.

Puppy classes in groups aren’t for every puppy or person, so a 1:1 might get you and your puppy off to a better start.  We can be flexible on times to suit your lifestyle.

There is so much conflicting information available these days. Happily, times have moved on from punishment based training and the pack theory where you have to be the boss.  We offer a more relaxed approach where you and your puppy can live together in harmony. You have chosen to be the carer for your puppy and we will work with you to make his or her life as fulfilling and happy as it can be, whilst being stress free and flexible for you.  We aim to help you raise a relaxed, confident puppy who likes people and other dogs (whilst not obsessing about either) who is able to visit parks and pubs and other people’s homes with you without causing stress to anyone else.

There are several options available and they include 7 days of support from the date of your appointment, by Whatsapp and email, to help you approach any new challenges that arise.  After the 7 days you have the option (Option 3) to book a 20 minute Zoom or face to face follow up session for £20.
We will also recommend reading for you about puppy training and early socialisation versus the risks of diseases before vaccinations take effect.
Choose your option and pay by Paypal then you will be directed back to fill in the form to arrange an appointment.  The booking form will ask you for a few details including 3 times that would suit you for your appointment  (which should at least 4 days from submitting your form).  We will then reply confirming an appointment time.
When circumstances permit and we need to travel more than 15 minutes to attend an at home session a separate charge of 45p per mile will be made for travel expenses.
No refunds are given if appointments are missed. However they can be rescheduled with 48 hours notice.
We look forward to helping you with those all important first steps on your journey with your new companion.

Just to say the cheese trick is brilliant - she has to check she’s got every bit!

I really enjoyed the 1 to 1 and it was invaluable for my two children to help them understand how to work with a new puppy. It also raised my confidence levels and gave me strategies to deal with play biting, crying and leaving her alone for a few minutes.  (Hermione and Saffron)
